What's The Very Best Cold Open Of A TV Show That You Can Think Of?

In case you're not familiar with the term, cold opens are the short opening at the beginning of sitcoms or dramas (a mini-act, if you will) that will sometimes roll before the opening credits. Shows like The Office or Brooklyn Nine-Nine do this brilliantly.

We want to know what YOU think the best cold open is! Maybe it was the introduction of Lost Season 2, Episode 1, "Man of Science, Man of Faith" when, at first, you have no idea what's happening — but it all comes together.

Or maybe the best is Parks and Rec Season 3, Episode 9, where Ron fakes a tooth extraction.

Although rare, perhaps you thought one of the Game of Thrones cold opens was spectacularly epic, like in Season 4, Episode 1 when Lord Tywin melts down Ned Stark's sword.

We want to know! In your opinion, what is the best cold open of a TV show? Is there one so funny it made you laugh out loud? Or maybe it's one so epic that it made you gasp? Tell us now in the comments below
